Harmony Valley Farm is seeking an individual with a business mind and a passion for organic agriculture to join our team as the farm's primary resource for financial and IT functions. We grow produce for our large CSA in addition to wholesale and retail accounts. We employ 12 - 15 year-round employees in addition to about 25 seasonal employees. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional to keep financial records, provide financial reports to the management team, manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll and related HR financial accounting and reporting, maintain a product cost system and participate in the financial analysis of the business. Key personal skills include ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrate initiative and follow-through, effective written and verbal communication skills. Necessary technical skills include previous work experience in business, accounting or economics, proficiency using Quickbooks, MS word, Excel, and Outlook, bookkeeping skills, accuracy with numbers and attention to detail.
